For task one we had to collect 5 different letterforms, using both uppercase and lowercase. I used various different styles using the letters 'A' 'H' 'W' 'E' and 'G'. We then resized the letterforms into 5 different sizes, 1cm x 1cm, 3cm x 3cm, 5cm x 5cm, 7cm x 7cm, and 10cm x 10cm, resulting in 50 different sizes of letters. Here is my collection;

After sizing all the images we then had to cut them up and use parts of each letter (for examples; different parts of all the 'A' letters) to create a 'distorted' letter. Here are my solutions;
After completing the 'distorted' typefaces we had to trace them making them into a smooth format before created an 'out-lined' version as well as a solid 'block coloured' version. Below is my Trace versions. I was really pleased with the final outcome of the sketched versions as they looked (although distorted) very legible and productive as a typeface themselves.
^^ Both Solid, outlined and pencil versions for each letterform.
Once traced, I then scanned in the images and formatted then into the earlier formats using 1cm x 1cm, 3cm x 3cm, 5cm x 5cm, 7cm x 7cm, and 10cm x 10cm. Here are my final solutions of my letterforms for task 1.
