How to make a Paper Airplane.

This morning we had some free time to work on the brief. Unfortunately Joel wasn't around but Emily, Lisa and myself managed to brain storm some initial design sheets and come up with a rough plan on action before our interim crit tomorrow. We all agreed to go away and come back each with our own design then we could take aspects of everyones work to include in the final design. Below are the images of our design sheet;

We decided it would be beneficial to focus our audience at unisex children aged between 6 and 10. We also decided to create a small activity pack, with a check list, stickers, plane nets, and an instructions booklet. These would be for sale in local supermarkets and newsagents at a price of around £2-3. The design must be simple and eye catching and appeal to both boys and girls. After our group discussion I then went away and designed a rough Idea using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Here are my outcome images;

I used the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator to create a simple yet eye catching initial image, which would then become the main imagery for my entire design. I tried to keep to simple unisex colours as this would appeal to both boys and girls.
