As part of the brief we had to try to link this new concept, 'fishermen' and interpret it to represent the proverb from our previous brief, in my case 'out of sight, out of mind'. Because I have chosen to go down the route of 'project ocean' looking at species' of fish dying out I have decided to combine this with my previous design to see how the outcome would would. Taking on some advice from my previous crit feedback I have decided to add colour to the design. This also compliments the new brief as I can combine it with a turquoise / blue shade with will represent the ocean. In the work produced here (very similar to previous brief) I have used a white stock with black and turquoise as the main colour scheme. For this idea to work successfully I would like to create a hologram effect where from one angle you see one image, and when the angle is altered you see a different image. This would represent the change, and as both designs are similar with subtle differences to represent fish dying out (Project ocean) this would look really powerful and effective. However, despite my hopes to create a hologram effect this would be very difficult to make it look effective as a flat 2D image that is possible to send through the post. Here are my solutions that I resolved, linking my current brief more directly with my previous 'out of sight, out of mind' designs;
