These were some initial sketches that Joel did for the website. You can see he started with a more confused layout but then opted for a cleaner square formatted look with less clutter to let the work speak for itself. This also looked at a drawing pin for the logo and post it notes.
However seeing as we are making a tumblr this has become a structure we are looking for in a theme. It may not be exact but as close as we can get it. It's a good base for directions in style and structure.
