Animal Markings - Patterns - Colour
Concept- I wanted to produce something fun and interesting for the end of the OUGD404 design principles module and so I will be producing a set of pantone colours and products to match based around animal colours and markings. E.g Pantone Tiger would be the name of one of my pantone colours. I will use 10 different animals and produce 3 promotional products to create awareness of the small business and 3 actual products to be sold online including posters, postcards, stickers, mugs, t-shirts and canvas bags.
Content- Simple basic colours with subtile patterns to represent each animal/reptile individually. These will be presented in a similar format to current pantone colour with a name for each pantone plus the CMYK or RGB colour codes. I'm trying to create a professional appearance and fits in with current designs, and appeals to a youthful audience.
Context- My designs will be printed onto posters, postcards and stickers and presents in small packs to promote the mini business where can go online and purchcase mugs, bags, and t-shirts etc.
Audience- Young design students at college and university, or other young people interested in pantone colours and design.
